Daved Rosensweet M.D. graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School where, as part of his studies, he was sent to an externship on the San Carlos Apache Nation in the State of Arizona. It was here that he first saw how critical a general understanding of health and medicine is for everyone. Shortly after, Dr. R was put in charge of health promotion for the New Mexico Department of Health. Dr. R. has been in continuous private practice for most of his career and for the last ten years has been a regular lecturer for The American College for Advancement in Medicine and The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is the author of three books and the creator of The Menopause Method. He’s honey of Kim, the dad of one, the grandpa of two, and the grandpa-like-person to one labradoodle: TJ.
Joshua Rosensweet was a relatively regular boy until his mother (a waitress at the time) took him, at eleven years old, on a seven month journey through South East Asia. He returned a lover of traveling and of adventure. He subsequently went back to South East Asia twice more, travelled through Europe, lived in Mexico for a spell, was a ski instructor, an avid camper and a river raft guide. He met the love of his life at nineteen and has been with her ever since. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with degrees in English and Theatre (with a dabbling in Flamenco dancing) from The University of New Mexico. He has two awesome daughters, Maya and Mali, as well as his dog-son TJ. He is a lucky man.
TJ is a re-homed labradoodle and a survivor of cancer. If you look closely, you’ll note his crooked smile. It was created the day of his surgery, years ago, when almost half his jaw was taken away: a testament to the resilient nature of dogs and the wonders of modern medicine. He is one of the sweetest and calmest beings you’ll ever meet.
